About the Project

This podcast critically examines the cultural impact of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) across organizations, communities, and society while challenging the concept. While acknowledging DEI’s historical significance, it questions its effectiveness in driving cultural transformation and achieving genuine equity. As a former Chief Global Equity and Social Impact Officer, I provide a platform for diverse voices—sparking thought-provoking conversations with those who champion DEI’s role in fostering inclusion and those who believe it has been ineffective or divisive. The goal is to explore a broad range of perspectives and inspire meaningful dialogue on DEI’s role in shaping lasting cultural change

"The cycle of socialization talks about how we begin to evolve our values, norms, and ways of thinking from our community, and when people understand that, and they are in a new space, then that is when people start questioning if what they've learned stands true"
